Founded in 2020, K-Fiber Optics has strived to provide a true, efficient and reliable service than what this community is used to. Since the pandemic too many of us have struggled with the services that’s available. The need for a proper internet company arose and became us. We started by owning and operating our own fiber network in the community.

The Routers

We NEED to supply one essential piece of equipment to get you started with high speed internet (ONT-$50) and then you the customer have 2 choices of router types depending on your needs and home. Whether you’re streaming HD video on multiple devices simultaneously, uploading a big presentation for work, or gaming online with friends, the BLAST u4 has got you covered. $100-The second and major difference choice is a GigaSpire BLAST u6.1, with Gigabit Wi-fi speeds, BLAST u6.1 provides more than enough for everyone in your household. And no matter how many devices are connected at the same time, everyone enjoys the same outstanding Wi-Fi performance. Based on Wi-fi 6, the BLAST u6.1 provides longer range, high efficiency and is less affected by interference from other nearby Wi-Fi gateways. The BLAST u6.1 has four Gigabit Ethernet ports, so you can also connect a variety of wired multimedia devices for rapid data sharing across your network.

100% Wireless Coverage in the Home

Delivering reliable, 100% wireless coverage range in every small home, top to bottom, back to front, has long posed a major challenge for many service providers. BLAST u4 was designed to optimize wireless coverage range in the least invasive and most power efficient manner. Auto Mesh increases the efficiency of air time and is particularly beneficial for real time wireless video distribution. It utilizes “per-packet” routing via the most direct path from “server” (which may be the Internet, or another mesh point such as a IP Video box) to each client. In this way, the wireless network map is completely fluid and flexible, never using potentially wasteful static routes. It constantly reevaluates clients, applications and data flows to maximize wireless network capabilities.

BLAST u6.1 features

The GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 is a premium smart home system that delivers the latest ‘Wi-Fi 6’ certified technology (802.11ax). The GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 uses a 1 Gigabit Ethernet link at the subscriber’s premises to provide carrier-class Wi-Fi and four (4) Gigabit Ethernet interfaces for customer multi-media devices. The GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 enables residential subscribers to receive Gigabit broadband data, Internet Protocol (IP) video, and voice (POTS) services. Using the latest 802.11ax technology in both the 2.4 and 5 GHz radios, the GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 incorporates 6×6 streams of Wi-Fi delivery (2×2 @ 2.4 GHz and 4×4 @ 5 GHz). In addition, with multi-user multiple-input and multiple-output (MU-MIMO) and beamforming, the GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 allows service providers to extend the access network inside the home and establish a strategic location for the delivery and control of broadband services. With Wi-Fi being the de facto wireless data communication technology of choice for consumers, Calix engineered the GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 for optimal whole-home coverage with simultaneous dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation and dynamic beamforming at 5 GHz. Leveraging the latest Wi-Fi 6 features, the GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 provides longer range, higher efficiency and less interference compared to earlier generations of Wi-Fi technology. The GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 also supports the entire 5 GHz band, including Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) channels and can be provisioned to support 160 MHz channel bandwidth at 5 GHz. The GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 easily delivers HD and UHD (ultra-HD) video and data throughout a subscriber’s home in an increasingly video-rich and mobile broadband environment. Data Sheet Ensuring consumers can have ultra-fast Wi-Fi throughout their premises, the GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 provides the latest generation of redundant mesh via the Calix Mesh BLAST u4m (GM1028) (please see the GM1028 data sheet for more information). With the GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 as the hub, and the BLAST u4m as the satellite extenders, consumers can truly gain the whole home/smart home experience. For even higher mesh performance, GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 can also be a mesh unit. This means that two GigaSpire BLAST u6.1 systems can connect to each other with one being the residential gateway and the other being the satellite.
